What the approval search found
As of October 1, 2026, FDA's drug application search found no ipamorelin application. The agency that oversees US drugs goes by FDA, which stands for Food and Drug Administration. There was also no ipamorelin drug label in DailyMed, the government's label database.
That means there is no FDA-approved ipamorelin product for sleep, muscle, weight loss, or another use on that date.
What if a page shows a drug code?
NDC stands for National Drug Code, a code for a product listed in a government directory. FDA says a code is not proof of approval in its directory explanation.
On October 1, 2026, ipamorelin entries in the NDC search were raw-ingredient listings. Those entries were not approved finished drugs.
What does a prescription settle?
A prescription alone does not prove FDA approval. Some medicines are prepared for a named patient with a prescription under separate pharmacy rules. Those medicines are not FDA-approved.
For ipamorelin, the question is whether the pharmacy is allowed to use this ingredient. Read the pharmacy rules and ask which rule would allow the proposed medicine.
A question to bring
Can you show me this product's approval record, or explain the rules that would allow it to be made?
